Not too many years ago, I was an absolute love disaster.
I knew that I was bright and capable. I thought I was attractive. But the men I met were not kind to me. They did not value me. And they never stuck around.
Keep in mind that as hopeless as you may think your situation is right now, I was a young Costa Rican woman living in my mother's house. And money was tight.
Thankfully, Costa Rica has an amazing educational system which allowed me to become a doctor of psychology at no cost.
